Picture
I have a passion for helping people reconnect with core feelings - our inner truths and pathways to our authentic Self. Sometimes I like to think of myself as a "Feelings Activist" - since I help people work against the many forces in our societies and personal histories that contribute to our own avoidance and dismissal of our feelings. It is truly touching for me when I help people get re-acquainted with their feelings and needs.

I care deeply about suffering in others and in the world. Clients often tell me that they experience me as non-judgemental and safe - or that they  feel so much better after working with me.

My Training

I possess foundational training in relational and attachment theories and use an Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)  framework. I work to maintain a stance of authenticity, openness,  and warmth, fostering a strong therapeutic relationship as a base from which you can grow.
I received my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Smith College and completed two year-long internships in Toronto at the Center for Mental Health and Addiction (CAMH) and the Sick Kids Center for Community Mental Health. I specialize in working with adults struggling with depression and anxiety, and with couples on relationship issues.
Check out my Individual and Couples Therapy pages to learn more about how I can work with you.
